Did you know that March is a month of beginnings? It was actually the first month of the ancient Roman calendar, before January and February were added! Named after Mars, the Roman god of war, March was considered the ideal time to resume military campaigns after the long winter. These days, we're more interested in its other claim to fame - the arrival of spring! The Spring Equinox falls in March, that magical moment when day and night are nearly equal in length, and the world begins to wake up again
